At the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur, both veterans gave the fans a wholesome moment.

The moment stood out due to how much pressure both perhaps had been under over the years to perform not only for the national side but also for the franchises they have played in. But they still found some time to share a relaxed and friendly interaction in the middle of the game.

Neither Rohit nor Virat Kohli enjoyed a great time with the bat in the clash. The former contributed a decent score of 22 runs in 10 deliveries with the help of two boundaries and as many sixes at a strike rate of 220. But he couldn’t convert the star into a massive score.

Meanwhile, Kohli, who came into this contest on the back of his golden duck against the Lucknow Super Giants, experienced the same against the Mumbai Indians. He failed to get enough power in the shot and found the fielder for his second consecutive golden duck.

The Delhi-born is currently the leading run-getter of the RCB side with 379 runs in 11 innings at an average of 42.11 and a strike rate of 163.36, thanks to three half-centuries at the best score of 81. Meanwhile, Rohit, despite missing a huge chunk of the event due to injury, has gathered 243 runs in six innings at a strike rate of 177.37.
