The fans of the Rajastha Royals (RR) and the Chennai Supr Kings (CSK) were engaged in a brutal fight during their contest of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 as the video went viral on the social media.

In their respective opening games of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) blew away the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their home encounter at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati after bowling out the visitors for a low score with the bat, as none of the CSK batters could spend enough time in the middle.
But a different picture away from the game took place in the stands, where the fans of both Rajasthan and Chennai were seen to be engaged in a brutal fight as the video went viral on social media platforms.
CSK and RR fans spotted in aggressive fight during IPL 2026
The fans were seen to be aligned in a brutal discussion while sitting at the stadium. One of the people in the blue shirt was seen to be coming out of their seat and punched the face of another person, who was seemingly a fan of the Riyan Parag-led side, putting the shirt of the inaugural champions as that person fell on the stairs.

Some of the other persons also came and joined in the fight, but no confirmed reason for them losing their cool has been known. The video went viral on social media, where many reckoned that something odd might have been whispered during that period.
RR start IPL 2026 campaign with massive win over CSK
Chennai got bundled out for 127 runs in 19.4 overs as their top four batters failed to get into the double digits. Only three of their four batters made their way to double figures. Jamie Overton ended up with 43 runs in 36 balls at a strike rate of 119.44 with the help of two boundaries and a pair of sixes.

Meanwhile, in the chase, the Royals completed the chase by eight wickets in just 12.1 overs. Their opener, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, smashed 52 runs in just 17 balls at a strike rate of 305.88, smashing four boundaries and five sixes. Yashasvi Jaiswal remained unbeaten on 38 balls in 36 balls and made their way to the top of the points table.
