"Move to Europe" — Another star cricketer plans to settle abroad after Virat Kohli
"Move to Europe" — another star Indian cricketer is reportedly planning to settle abroad, following in Virat Kohli's footsteps. Here's what's been said and what it means for his India career

It was early 2024, when the former Indian captain, Virat Kohli, following the birth of their son, Akaay, decided to settle in the United Kingdom with his son along with his wife. He continues to stay in the country and travels back and forth for his international cricket and active series commitments. After him, another star player plans to settle abroad.
The premier pacer of the Indian side, Jasprit Bumrah, nearly made the same planning as his wife, Sanjana Ganesan, shared a funny story about her and their son. Their interest on football more than cricket could have pushed them in taking the decision.
What exactly did Sanjana Ganesan say about moving to Europe with Angad?
Sanjana, the renowned presenter of the television, shared the funny story when he revealed that their son, Angad, had just started his football classes and already told his father that he like the football more than cricket.
Sanjana joked that Bumrah was heartbroken with the situation and even laughed that they might have to move to Europe for his son’s further development in the game. Since Angad is only two years old, the family has been taking it as a very funny moment.

However, it’s quite normal these players for the players to move out of India for a better life. Kohli and Anushka Sharma decided to shift their primary base to London to seek privacy, a ‘normal’ family life, and to raise their children away from the consistent scrutiny of the public.
Living in London allows the family to perform their routine activities, like the public transit and shopping without any requirement of the heavy security setups.
Will Jasprit Bumrah be fit to return for India's Test series vs Sri Lanka?
Bumrah, after a massive break since the end of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, had featured in the three-match ODI series against England. He played in the first couple of gams and picked up two wickets with the ball before missing the third encounter due to injury.

The injury is strong enough to rule him out of their upcoming two-match Test series against Sri Lanka, which begins on August 15. He will go through a fitness test, and if he clears the test, the right-arm pacer will be included in India's red-ball squad for the Sri Lanka trip.
