While the CSK fans have experienced another quality batting performance from Samson, they are highly impressed with this performance.
The right-handed opening batter Sanju Samson is among the top five leading run-scorers in the IPL 2026. Although he was disappointed with single-digit scores in four innings this season, the opener scored 115 not out and 48 against Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders, as CSK won both those matches.
While most of the other CSK batters are struggling, Samson has somehow produced some strong batting performances. Despite more than 50 percent of performances being below par, the wicketkeeper-batter has still impressed, especially while he is currently in dream batting form.

While most of the CSK batters have failed to capitalise their starts after being forced to bat first in the away match against MI, opener Sanju Samson has taken the role to guide the team to a big total. With the help of six fours and three sixes, Samson completed his 50 runs in 26 balls. His powerful batting has guided the CSK to a strong first innings total, as the visitors have already scored 181/6 in 20 overs. At this moment, Samson has scored 78 not out off 43 balls with eight fours and four sixes, as he is the only batter to reach the 25-run mark in the innings.
