Watch: Sayali Satghare stuns Georgia Voll with peach of delivery in AUS-W vs IND-W Only Test
The right-arm pacer of the Indian women side, Sayali Satghare, picked up the wicket of Georgia Voll, the Australian opening batter, as her maiden wicket with a beutiy during the only Test in Perth.

India didn’t enjoy a great batting performance in the first innings during their only Test of the ongoing series in 2025, having been bundled out for only 198 runs, after being put into bat first at the WACA ground in Perth. Under Harmanpreet Kaur, they needed a special bowling performance to bring themselves back into the fixture.
That was when Sayali Satghare’s jaw-dropping in-swinging delivery drew the first blood early for them. The first ball of the third over was a short of a length delivery outside the off stump as the batter was cramped for space and blocked it off the inner half down the track.

But the second ball swung by a huge margin to dismiss the right-handed opening batter, Georgia Voll, for two runs. It was a fuller length delivery outside the off stump as it swung substantially with Voll leaning forward to counter it before the ball went through the gap between bat and pad and crashed into the leg stump.

The opener went back to the pavilion for two runs in eight balls as it was a terrific start for the right-arm pacer, Sayali Satghare. Later in the innings, Kranti Gaud also removed Phoebe Litchfield for nine runs in 39 balls. Her rusty knock came to an end as she gave an outside edge to the out-swinging delivery into the hands of the wicket-keeper.
