Amo Sharks kept their winning streak going in the 2025 Shpageeza Cricket League (SCL) with a thrilling 3-wicket victory over Band-e-Amir Dragons at the Kabul International Cricket Stadium. The Dragons won the toss, elected to bat first, and posted an imposing 199/4 in 20 overs. Captain Hashmatullah Shahidi scored a fluent 73 off 51 balls, while Mohammad Shahzad smashed 68 off 38. Yamin Ahmadzai took 2/44 for the Sharks, while Fazalhaq Farooqi and Aftab Alam chipped in with a wicket each.

In reply, Amo Sharks timed their chase well, reaching 203/7 in the final over.
Shahidullah Kamal provided the anchor with 44 off 33, with Hassan Eisakhil and Imran Mir making 35 each to maintain the momentum. Izharulhaq Naveed was the bowler of choice for the Dragons with 2/27.

With this victory, the Amo Sharks climb to the top of the SCL points table with 4 points and a net run rate of +0.441. Band-e-Amir Dragons, though they put up a good fight, lost their first match and are third with 2 points and a net run rate of +0.089.
