Match 21 – Texas Super Kings vs MI New York (MLC 2025)

At Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas, Texas Super Kings defeated MI New York by 39 runs. MI New York won the toss and chose to bowl first, but that move didn’t work out for them as Texas played really well in both batting and bowling.

Texas Super Kings Batted first, they scored a huge 223 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Captain Faf du Plessis was the star performer, hitting a superb 103 runs from just 53 balls. Donovan Ferreira helped with a quick 53 off 20 balls. Saiteja Mukkamalla also added 25 runs. For MI New York, George Linde took 2 wickets for 42 runs, and Rushil Ugarkar took 2 for 47.

In reply, MI New York could only manage 184 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. Kieron Pollard playerd a great innings 70 runs from 39 balls. Quinton de Kock scored 35, and Michael Bracewell made 26. But Texas bowled well to stop them. Akeal Hosein was the best bowler with 3 wickets for just 15 runs. Nandre Burger and Marcus Stoinis took 2 wickets each to help seal the win.
