Rajasthan Royals registered a convincing 6-wicket victory over Punjab Kings in a high-scoring IPL 2026 encounter, handing PBKS their first defeat of the season. Chasing a massive target of 223 runs, RR completed the chase comfortably with 6 wickets in hand and several balls to spare.

Batting first, Punjab Kings posted an imposing total of 222/4 in 20 overs. Marcus Stoinis played a blistering, unbeaten knock of 62 off just 22 balls, providing a strong finish to the innings. Prabhsimran Singh contributed 59 runs, while Priyansh Arya added a quick 29. Captain Shreyas Iyer also chipped in with 30 runs to build a solid platform for the team.

For Punjab Kings, Arshdeep Singh endured a tough outing, finishing with figures of 1/68 in his four overs. Yuzvendra Chahal picked up three wickets but could not prevent Rajasthan Royals from maintaining control of the chase. Ultimately, RR reached the target comfortably, securing a dominant win and ending Punjab Kings’ unbeaten streak in IPL 2026.
