The opening batter of the Gujarat Titans, Shubman Gill, has smashed RCB's Josh Hazlewood for elegant sixes during the GT vs RCB clash of the IPL 2026.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) made a superb start with the bat during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 clash after the Gujarat Titans (GT) won the toss and invited the visitors to bat first on the black-soil surface at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. But they couldn’t continue their dominance.
The Titans were exceptional in the middle overs and the death phase of the innings as they were able to restrict the Rajat Patidar-led side for 155 runs in 19.2 overs with regular wickets. After the dismissal of Virat Kohli, the Bengaluru side lost that glue in that line-up.

The right-handed batter went forward to loft the full ball outside the off stump through the line as it came off the sweet part of the bat and flew over the long-on region for a massive six. He backed it up with a boundary, punching the short ball through the square of the ground.
Gill finished the second over of the innings against the Australian pacer effortlessly over the deep backward square-leg as the ball flew off the bat. He walked with a swagger, putting an aggressive look at the RCB fielders.
