The wicket gradually got drier than the previous day and became an ideal surface for the spinners and slow pacer bowlers to take charge. In the second innings of Bangladesh, Prabath Jayasuriya and Sri Lanka skipper Dhananjaya de Silva claimed 2 wickets each. Bangladesh ended the day after scoring only 115 in exchange for 6 scalps. As of now, Sri Lanka is in the driving seat at Colombo. The first test of the two-match series resulted in a draw. If they manage to win the second match, then the host team can win the series by 1-0.
