The left-handed opening batter of the Indian side, Smriti Mandhana, has created history as he became the leading century-maker in women’s cricket with 18 centuries across the three formats during the Asia Cup 2026 contest against Hong Kong and China at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
Mandhana has celebrated two centuries in his 16 innings of the women’s Test along with his five fifties for India, while she has smashed 14 centuries and 35 half-centuries in the 120 innings of the ODI format. The left-handed batter slammed two centuries and 35 fifties in 167 innings of the T20I format.

On the first ball of the second over, Mandhana smashed Kary Chan for a fine boundary before continuing her aggressive batting with more boundaries. She nailed Maryam Bibi for three boundaries in the five overs of the game. Shafali Verma contributed from the other end while Mandhana reached her fifty.

The left-handed batter picked up the short delivery and swept Iqra Sahar over the deep backward square-leg region for a massive six to celebrate her 36th fifty in her career. She shuffled across and hung back to launch Chan for another six.

With a boundary on the 100th ball of the innings, Mandhana smacked Marina Lamplough for a boundary into the deep backward point region to celebrate his second century, becoming the first Indian woman to hit two centuries in the T20Is.
India post 193/5 vs Hong Kong as Mandhana's ton powers a big total
India posted 193 runs for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 20 overs as Mandhana slammed a dashing knock of 124 runs off 64 balls at a strike rate of 193.75, thanks to 14 boundaries and seven sixes. Verma drilled 28 runs off 17 balls, shouldering on three fours and a pair of sixes. Lamplough ended up with 2/46 in four overs.

Hong Kong, in reply, were bundled out for 56 runs in 16.2 overs. Deepti Sharma returned with figures of 3/9 in three overs, while Prema Rawat, Shree Charani, and Nandani Sharma ended up with two wickets each as they lost the contest by 137 runs.
