Watch: Special bond between Rohit Sharma and a family who met 8 years ago

In a recent video shared by Sony Sports Network, we can hear a heartwarming story about Rohit Sharma. Through this video, the speaker narrated how Rohit, then the captain of the Indian Test setup, acted towards his special fan in Adelaide, Australia.

According to the speaker, the incident happened after an Adelaide Test, where India lost on the third day. Day four is scheduled for a break, and from day five, practice sessions. After the practice season, Rohit Sharma prepared to go back to the hotel. Unlike in India, players there in Australia can reach the hotel from the stadium on foot.

They love Rohit Sharma as a person

Rohit also prepared for a walk. Then, before leaving the stadium, he saw a family and went straight towards them for a conversation. From then, the speaker in the video came to know about a beautiful story. 

"The girl there waiting for Rohit was about 13-14 years old then. She first saw Rohit when she was 4 years old when India toured Australia back in 2011-12. At that time, Rohit was a little girl crying, came to her mother, and tried to stop the child's crying. From then, with that family in Australia, Rohit shares a special bond. Whenever Team India visits Australia, the family comes to the ground only to meet with Sharma," the speaker said.
