The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the four teams’ complete squad for the first round of the Duleep Trophy 2024/25.

The Indian domestic cricket season will start with the Duleep Trophy 2024/25. The previous Duleep Trophy tournaments were played by Indian zonal teams. However, the Duleep Trophy 2024/25 will feature four teams chosen by the national selection committee. 

On Wednesday (14 August), the men’s selection committee announced the complete squad for the four teams for the first round of the Duleep Trophy 2024/25.

Duleep Trophy 2024/25: Shubman Gill, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer are the captains

Shubman Gill will lead Team A, while the Bengal star opening batter Abhimanyu Easwaran will be the Team B captain. On the other hand, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer will lead Team C and Team D, respectively. 

Duleep Trophy 2024/25 will begin on 5th September 2024. In the first round of the upcoming Duleep Trophy, Team A will compete against Team B at M Chinnaswamy Stadium (Bengaluru), and Team C vs Team D match will be played at Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh). 

Complete squads for the first round of the Duleep Trophy 2024/25 

Team A: Shubman Gill (C), Mayank Agarwal, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, KL Rahul, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Tanush Kotian, Kuldeep Yadav, Akash Deep, Prasidh Krishna, Khaleel Ahmed, Avesh Khan, Vidwath Kaverappa, Kumar Kushagra, Shaswat Rawat.

Team B: Abhimanyu Easwaran (C), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant, Musheer Khan, Nitish Kumar Reddy*, Washington Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohd Siraj, Yash Dayal, Mukesh Kumar, Rahul Chahar, R Sai Kishore, Mohit Awasthi, N Jagadeesan (WK).

Team C: Ruturaj Gaikwad (C), Sai Sudharsan, Rajat Patidar, Abishek Porel (WK), Suryakumar Yadav, B Indrajith, Hrithik Shokeen, Manav Suthar, Umran Malik, Vyshak Vijaykumar, Anshul Khamboj, Himanshu Chauhan, Mayank Markande, Aryan Juyal (WK), Sandeep Warrier.

Team D: Shreyas Iyer (C), Atharva Taide, Yash Dubey, Devdutt Padikkal, Ishan Kishan (WK), Ricky Bhui, Saransh Jain, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Aditya Thakare, Harshit Rana, Tushar Deshpande, Akash Sengupta, KS Bharat (WK), Saurabh Kumar.
