Former Indian and Chennai Super Kings star Suresh Raina returned to CSK jersey for the special Sunday (March 22), as the CSK fans returned to the successful memory.   

The Indian Premier League 2026 is less than a week away, and the joint record-holder five-time champions Chennai Super Kings brought the memory back to the fans. While the CSK fans gathered for a special Sunday, Suresh Raina returned to CSK jersey.

Suresh Raina came with the bat on the field, while he faced Afghan spinner Noor Ahmad, and the CSK fans enjoyed the moment. The franchise also introduced its Hall of Fame, and Suresh Raina and the Australian legend Matthew Hayden became the first inductees of CSK's Hall of Fame.

Fun moment between Suresh Raina and Noor Ahmad goes viral

Raina asked for a trial ball, and after defending a ball, we saw a big shot from the left-handed batter, for which he was famous. Raina also had a verbal fun with wicketkeeper MS Dhoni, which brought back the memory their strong bond and partnerships during career.

Raina has retired from the professional cricket in 2021, while the five-time IPL winning captain MS Dhoni is still serving for CSK as an experience campaigner.
