USA will now host Ireland on Friday at this venue and then the India vs Canada match will be played here on the 15th and Pakistan vs Ireland on the 16th as well. Though the road ahead for both these teams looks tough, it will be interesting to see how things unfold.

Notably, with this washout, South Africa become the first team to qualify for the Super 8 stage as well. they are topping the group with three wins in three games so far. They have defeated Sri Lanka, Netherlands and Bangladesh in their first three games and will take on Nepal on 14th June as well. While they have already qualified, they will try to finish the league stage being unbeaten as well.
