Watch: Team India honours Alyssa Healy with guard of honour in her final ODI appearance
Alyssa Healy received a heartfelt guard of honour from India women's national cricket team in her final ODI appearance for Australia.

In the final ODI match, Australia women are up against India women at the Bellerive Oval, Hobart. After losing the T20I series, the hosts took complete control over the ODIs and won the first two games. The last game is played on March 1, which is also the final ODI game for Alyssa Healy. Australia's captain is retiring from international cricket and has announced that this will be her last series.
After having an illustrious career, she has finally bid farewell to the game. Healy will also play the one-off Test match against India, starting from March 6. She made her international debut in 2010 against New Zealand. When Healy joined the team, she was a 19-year-old player, but as she leaves the team, she is a successful captain across formats.
After Meg Lanning, Healy took on Australia's captaincy. She went on to win the Belinda Clark Award in 2019 and two ICC Women's T20I Cricketer of the Year honours (2018 and 2019). Interestingly, she was part of eight ICC World Cup-winning (six T20 and two ODI) editions and holds several records, including the highest individual score in a World Cup final and the most dismissals by a wicketkeeper in women's T20Is.
She received a guard of honor from the Indian team as she walked out to bat one last time in her ODI career. As we write, Healy has slammed a half-century against India and is likely to target a century as well.

When asked about her retirement at the toss, she said, "I guess, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed what these colours have meant over a long period of time and the amazing things that we’ve achieved over that period. So look, come the end of next week, I’m sure I’ll be able to reflect properly, but for now it’s about getting this series in our favour and getting one on top again."
Australia to bat first against India in 3rd ODI
The Indian women's team skipper, Harmanpreet Kaur, won the toss and elected to bat first against Australia in the final ODI match. After losing the series, India have one last chance to avoid a series whitewash. It will be quite humiliating since they are the World Champions.
Meanwhile, the Australian skipper was happy with the decision as they already have the series under their name. They won the first two games after losing the T20I series, 2-1. The last game will be an interesting one as Australia will try to win it for their captain.
