Rohit Sharma heaped praises on Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan

Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma who got out for a duck after facing 3 deliveries heaped praises on Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan who led the run-chase in the high-scoring match at Mohali. The home team, Punjab Kings scored 214 runs batting first and it was likely that Punjab Kings could win the match as before this game, no team had chased down a 200+ target at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium. But, Mumbai Indians batters displayed exceptional performance in the run-chase led by Ishan Kishan, who scored 75 off 41 deliveries, while Suryakumar Yadav smashed 66 runs in 31 balls before Tim David and Tilak Varma finished off in style.

“Surya and Kishan batted brilliantly and good finish by Tim and Tilak. Before the start of the season we spoke about how we want to play our cricket. With the bat, we just wanted to go out there and play fearlessly and not worry about the results. Often you think about the results you move away from your plans. But we talked right at the start that we want to be fearless,” Rohit Sharma said.
