TNPL 2025: Chepauk Super Gillies vs Nellai Royal Kings full match highlights

Pure gold performance by the boys in golden jerseys. Nellai Royal Kings (NRK) had no match for Chepauk Super Gillies' (CSG) first innings 212. Chepauk won the match by 47 runs, while Swapnil Singh emerged as the best performer of the match by scoring a stormy 45-run innings and claiming a brace. 

Toss and the first innings:

Arun Karthik, captain of NRK, won the toss and chose to bowl first. CSG welcomed the decision with both arms and started to hammer the ball from the beginning of the contest. Aashiq Kaleel Rahman, the opener of Chepauk, scored 54 off 38 balls with seven 4s and one 6. Then the skipper, Baba Aparajith (41), Vijay Shankar (47), and Swapnil Singh all contributed to the carnival of fours and sixes. Singh's (45 runs, 14 balls, 4x2, 6x5) cameo boosted his team's run rate and took it to 212. Valliappan Yudheeswaran claimed 3 scalps for Nellai, with the cost of a 12.33 economy rate.

Second innings:

Royal Kings' opener and skipper Karthik (51) and the batter at number 8, Muhammed Adnan Khan (48)fight hard to stay relevant in the competition, but it is now enough to fight against the mighty total on the scoreboard. Chepauk Super Gillies won the match by 41 runs.
