India Women played 23 ODI matches in 2025. They won 15 matches, lost sevn, and one match ended with no result. The Women in Blue finished the year with a win percentage of 65.22 in ODIs. The biggest highlight of the year was winning the ODI World Cup at home.

The ODi World Cup champions started their 2025 journey with a 3–0 series win against Ireland at home in January. They also won the tri-series in Sri Lanka held in April–May. In July, the Women in Blue toured England and registered a memorable 2–1 ODI series win. After losing the home ODI series 2–1 against Australia in September, the team bounced back strongly to win the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup.

5. Harmanpreet Kaur (606 runs)

India Women captain Harmanpreet Kaur finished fifth on the list of batters with the most ODI runs in 2025. She played 20 matches (18 innings) and scored 606 runs at an average of 35.64 and a strike rate of 96.96. Her tally included one century and three half-centuries. Her biggest achievement was leading India Women to World Cup victory.

Harmanpreet scored a brilliant 102 off 84 balls against England at Chester-le-Street in the third ODI of the series. Her knock included 14 fours. She also played a vital innings of 89 off 88 balls against Australia in the second semifinal of the 2025 Women’s World Cup, hitting 10 fours and two sixes.

4. Harleen Deol (613 runs)

Harleen Deol had a mixed year with the bat in ODIs. She played 21 matches (19 innings) and scored 613 runs at an average of 34.05 and a strike rate of 77.30, including two half-centuries. In the Women’s World Cup, she scored 169 runs in five innings at an average of 33.80. Her best score was 48 against Sri Lanka in Guwahati.

Harleen’s highest ODI score in 2025 was 89 off 84 balls against Ireland in Rajkot. The innings included 12 fours. The 27-year-old also scored 54 off 57 balls against Australia in New Chandigarh, hitting four fours and two sixes.

3. Jemimah Rodrigues (771 runs)

Middle-order batter Jemimah Rodrigues finished third among India Women batters with the most ODI runs in 2025. She played 20 matches (18 innings) and scored 771 runs at an average of 51.40 and a strike rate of 105.18. She hit three centuries and two half-centuries.

Jemimah played a memorable knock in the World Cup semifinal against Australia in Navi Mumbai, scoring 127 not out off 134 balls to take India into the final. She also scored an unbeaten 76 off 55 balls against New Zealand in the World Cup, hitting 11 fours. Earlier in the year, she scored 102 off 91 balls against Ireland in Rajkot and 123 off 101 balls against Sri Lanka in the tri-series in Colombo.

2. Pratika Rawal (976 runs)

Opener Pratika Rawal enjoyed an excellent year in ODIs in 2025. She played 21 matches and scored 976 runs at an average of 51.36 and a strike rate of 83.99, with two centuries and six half-centuries. In the World Cup, she scored 308 runs in six innings at an average of 51.33.

Pratika scored a key century of 122 off 134 balls against New Zealand before missing the knockout matches due to ankle and knee injuries. Earlier, she was named Player of the Series against Ireland after scoring 310 runs in three innings. Her highest score of 154 came off 129 balls in Rajkot. She also scored 78 off 91 balls against South Africa in Colombo and 64 off 96 balls against Australia in New Chandigarh.

1. Smriti Mandhana (1,362 runs)

India Women star Smriti Mandhana finished 2025 as the highest run-scorer in women’s ODIs. She played 23 matches and scored 1,362 runs at an average of 61.90 and a strike rate of 109.92. Her run tally included five centuries and five half-centuries.

Mandhana scored 434 runs in nine innings during the World Cup at an average of 54.25. After a slow start in the tournament, she found top form at the right time. She scored 80 and 88 against Australia and England in the league stage, followed by 109 off 95 balls against New Zealand. She also played a vital knock of 45 in the final.

Before the World Cup, Mandhana was in outstanding form. She scored 135 off 80 balls against Ireland in Rajkot and 116 off 101 balls in the tri-series final against Sri Lanka in Colombo. She also smashed 117 off 91 balls against Australia in New Chandigarh and followed it with a stunning 125 off just 63 balls in Delhi. That innings included 17 fours and five sixes.
