Earlier, Gorakhpur Lions put up 167/9 in 20 overs. Skipper Dhruv Jurel scored 38 runs while Nishant Kushwah added a quick 37. Gorakhpur’s bowlers had no answers once Rinku started firing. Vasu Vats went for 43 runs, while Abdul Rehman and Vijay Yadav managed a wicket each but couldn’t stop the flow of runs. This victory gave Meerut Mavericks a strong boost in the competition, while Gorakhpur Lions were left disappointed.
