Kanpur Superstars will clash with Lucknow Falcons in Match 22 of the Uttar Pradesh Premier League 2025. The Superstars, led by Sameer Rizvi, have endured a disappointing campaign so far. With just two wins from seven games, they sit at the bottom of the points table despite having a comparatively better net run rate of +0.680. Their batting and bowling inconsistencies have cost them crucial matches, and this contest provides them with another opportunity to bounce back and prove their resilience in the tournament.

On the other hand, Lucknow Falcons, captained by the experienced Bhuvneshwar Kumar, are placed third on the points table with three wins and four losses from seven matches. While their season has been a mix of highs and lows, the Falcons still remain a strong contender for a playoff spot. They will aim to consolidate their position with a victory here, relying on their balance of experienced campaigners and young talent.
