Vaibhav Suryavanshi got the exact start in India A team was looking for against Pakistan A team during the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 tournament at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha on Sunday (November 16) evening.

The young opener went off to the mark with a stylish boundary through the point cordon. During the middle of the first innings, when Suryavanshi was already driving at top gear, emerging Pakistani pacer Shahid Aziz spiced up the matter in a verbal way. But those words were barely able to intimidate the 15-year-old Indian batter, as he continued dealing with boundaries.

The southpaw hit Aziz for back-to-back boundaries during the sixth over of the first innings of the game. Naman Dhir was the other batter at that moment for the India A team, who also got his first boundary of the match. Suryavanshi utilized the power play as much as possible.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi replied with boundary against Shahid Aziz

Some of his shots were not directed by a good connection between the bat and the ball, but still, those shots had enough power to clear the circle and race to the boundary ropes. The teen sensation started well but was not able to touch the half-century mark.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi was dismissed for 45 off 28. Sufiyan Muqeem was the bowler. The India A team was 93 for 3 after 10 overs of play. Against Muqeem, the left-handed batter began the over with a boundary and a six. But a mistimed shot carried the ball towards the long-on area, where Mohammad Faiq took a brilliant catch on the boundary.
