Virat Kohli spotted watching IND-W vs AUS-W at Lord's

Virat Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma, were spotted during the clash between India and Australia at Lord’s during the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. They were one of the biggest attractions in the stands at the ground, where the Indian fans were with sorrow after their team’s defeat.

With the six-wicket loss, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side were knocked out of the competition while the Sophie Molineux-led side advanced to the semifinal along with South Africa from the group.

Apart from Kohli and Anushka, the former Indian head coach, Ravi Shastri, was also present at the venue and enjoyed the proceedings, sitting together at the stands of Lord’s. They were later joined by the former opener of the Indian side, Shikhar Dhawan.

Dhawan was seen alongside his wife, Sophie Shine, as the star-studded atmosphere at the Home of Cricket brought excitement among the fans for the much anticipated contest. The cameras panned to Kohli, Dhawan, Sophie, Anushka, and Shastri on several occasions during the game, with the group applauding India’s performance with the bat.

The contest had a massive significance as the blue brigade had to win the game to be alive in the contest and keep South Africa away from the semifinals.

India posted a decent score of 170 runs for the loss of four wickets in their allotted 20 overs. The openers took them to a strong start, but there was a lack of intent from the top order before their captain recovered them to that score to show some fight.

Harmanpreet slammed 56 runs off just 27 balls at a strike rate of 206.41, thanks to his six boundaries and three sixes. She played some superb knock to get them to 170 at the end.

Australia were far behind the chase, but the 100-run fourth wicket between Ellyse Perry and Ashleigh Gardner took them over the finishing line by six wickets with a over to spare. Perry clubbed 56 runs off 38 balls while Gardner remained unbeaten on 53 runs off 29 balls, thanks to three fours and three sixes.
