Virat Kohli has once again found himself in a social media controversy storm. But this time, it’s his manager who has grabbed the headlines of the controversy. He responded to the comments made by the Cockroach Janta Party founder, Abhijit Dipke, with a sharp reply: ‘Mind your own business.’ The sharp response went viral later, sparking reactions from social media users.

As the social media post continues to gain traction, it triggered controversy in a very short time. The exchange has fuelled some fresh discussions online as many weigh in on the public spat, which involves one of India’s biggest cricket icons.

What did Virat Kohli’s manager say about Cockroach Janta Party

Kohli’s manager went hard at the Cockroach Janta Party founder as he recalled the incidents from 2011 when Arvind Kejriwal allegedly used some of the innocent people of India for a political agenda.

“For the past few weeks, I've seen people unnecessarily trolling Virat Kohli for not going to Jantar Mantar to join their protest. One thing I want to say is that Virat Kohli is a national hero, not a joker like Abhijeet Dipke, who is disturbing the national environment for his own benefit.” Kohli’s manager said in a recent interaction.

“We already saw something similar in 2011, when Arvind Kejriwal allegedly used innocent Indian people for a political agenda. They are targeting Virat Kohli because he promoted Dhurandhar 2 and visits Premanand Ji Maharaj. That's his personal choice. You cannot force him to participate in your protest. Mind your own business.” He added.

What allegations did Abhijit Dipke make against Virat Kohli?

Nikil Sosale, who works with the RCB side and is associated with Kohli’s management team, has criticized the ‘Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and its founder, Abhijit Dipke. He revealed that the CJP side has been trying to target the Delhi-born for a long time.

Sosale also confirmed that this started after Kohli promoted Dhrandhar 2 when he shared the movie and praised it on his Instagram story, besides visiting Premanand Ji Maharaj’s temple. But that should be his personal choice, and no one can interfere in it at all.

Virat Kohli’s England performance and next India match

Kohli, having missed the home ODI series of three matches against Afghanistan due to the injury that he picked during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), returned to the action during the ODI series in England.

After he failed in the very first game of the series at Edgbaston when he was dismissed for just five runs, the right-handed batter made a strong comeback with two consecutive half-centuries with the bat in the second and third encounters at Cardiff and Lord’s.

Having already retired from the T20Is and Tests for India, Kohli will be back in action during the home ODI series against West Indies, which begins on September 27 at the Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram.
