The legendary Indian batter, Virat Kohli, has paid a touching tribute to the Bollywood actor, Nana Patekar, who passed away in October. Patekar was found unresponsive at his Goa residence after suffering severe chest pain in the early hours of Thursday. The medical personnel at the Manipal Hospital declared him dead at 5:20 am.
Kohli was recently part of the three-match ODI series against West Indies at home. In the opening encounter, he smashed an unbeaten knock of 139 runs off just 88 balls before finishing the series with a golden duck in New Chandigarh.

Another former Indian legend, Sachin Tendulkar, also made a heart-touching post on Patekar after his death as the legend said that Patekar’s work had the same honesty as he was a straightforward person.
“I remember Nana Patekar as a very straightforward and grounded person. His work had that same honesty to it. Whether it was in Marathi or Hindi, he always brought something very real to the characters he played. Very sad to hear about his passing. My condolences to his family and loved ones. Om Shanti.” Tendulkar stated.
