India’s left-arm pacer, Arshdeep Singh, sat out for the third and final ODI of the three-match series against Australia at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). He is keeping the spirits high post their comfortable victory by nine wickets with more than 12 overs to spare in the run-chase as the focus now shifts to the five-match T20I series. 

India's Arshdeep has now dropped a light-hearted video on his Instagram post that has increased the spirits of the fans. In the short clip, the left-arm pacer was seen cracking jokes alongside the international teammate, the left-arm spin all-rounder Axar Patel. He gave a video with a caption of ‘Truckaaan vaaleas the amusing banter went viral to draw laughter and appreciation from the fans.

“Axar bhai, accha hua cricket mein kuch ban gaye, nahi toh yeh kaar rahe hote hum.” (Axar bro, good thing we made something of ourselves in cricket — otherwise, this is what we’d be doing!)” Arshdeep joked, turning the camera towards the series of trucks on Instagram.

The reel around the social media platforms has already gained popularity with thousands of likes and comments as it showcases the 26-year-old pacer’s personality and sense of humor. These videos have made him a fan favorite since his debut in international cricket across formats. Singh was rested for the third ODI as the management made two changes in the form of Kuldeep Yadav and Nitish Reddy coming into the eleven.

The 26-year-old pacer has picked up overall 17 wickets in 10 ODI innings at an average of 23.17 and a strike rate of 26.6 with the best figures of 5/37, while in the shortest format, he has bagged 101 wickets in 65 innings at an average of 18.76 and a strike rate of 13.4, along with his economy rate of 8.37.

India’s excellent bowling performance, led by Harshit Rana’s four wickets, reduced the Australian side to 236 in 46.4 overs before the unbeaten 168-run stand for the second wicket between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma completed the chase by nine wickets in 38.3 overs.
