Dushmantha Chameera takes a sensational catch

On 29th April 2025, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, the Delhi Capitals' Dushmantha Chameera took everyone aback with a miraculous catch during their match against the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. In the 20th over of the match, Anukul Roy had glanced a Mitchell Starc ball over square leg, but Chameera's speed and agility proved to be the deciding factors.

Chameera, anticipating the ball, ran to his left and hurled himself sideways, stretching both arms to the limit. He managed to hold the catch in an incredible display of athleticism and left everyone at the stadium speechless.

Since it could restrict KKR's scoring chances in the last over, this remarkable catch might prove to be the difference-maker in the match. Chameera's catch is evidence of his excellent fielding abilities, which have been a hallmark of his cricket career.

Raghuvanshi and Rinku help KKR post 204 against Delhi Capitals

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) posted a solid total of 204/9 in their 20 overs against Delhi Capitals (DC), with solid batting by Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Rinku Singh. After a good start by Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Sunil Narine, KKR lost two wickets in a hurry, but Raghuvanshi and Rinku batted sensibly and forged a crucial partnership to keep their team in the game.

Both teams have batted sensibly, scoring boundaries and rotating the strike. Despite Delhi Capitals' revival in the last overs by Mitchell Starc grabbing three consecutive wickets, KKR were able to reach 200 runs. Their strong batting has provided them with an excellent opportunity to win at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
