The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shared a special video on Rishabh Pant, who inspired a lot of people at Old Trafford. In the morning, the news came that he had fractured his toes by trying to play a premeditated reverse-sweep against Chris Woakes and had been advised a six-week rest.

That meant there was no chance of the left-handed batter taking any part in the game. But the Delhi batter was robust. He came down the stairs and walked through the atmosphere where the spectators stood up and lauded his courage. Rishabh Pant also smashed Ben Stokes for a six into the stands and celebrated his half-century to carry India over the 350-run mark.
