India Wins, Reaches 10th U19 Final
India reached the final for the 10th time and for the sixth consecutive tournament after beating Afghanistan by seven wickets. They will face England in the final on Friday, February 5.
Chasing 311, Aaron George scored a century (115 runs off 104 balls). Vaibhav Suryavanshi (67 off 33) and Ayush Mhatre (62 off 59) also made quick half-centuries. India won the match with 57 balls to spare, claiming a comfortable seven-wicket victory.
Afghanistan, batting first, made a record score of 310, the highest-ever in a Super League semifinal. Faisal Shinozada scored 110 off 93 balls, and Uzairullah Niazai made 101 off 86 balls, giving Afghanistan a strong total to defend.
