Delhi Capitals (RCB) are in huge trouble as they have lost more than half of their team by ten runs against the defending champion Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. The crowd at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, were stunned by their team's poor performance in the tournament. For RCB, the bowling department is on a hunt. 

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the new Purple Cap holder, has picked up three wickets for just five runs in three overs. He will remember this spell for a long time, as he was phenomenal with the ball. The star bowler started his spell by dismissing newcomer Sahil Parakh in the second innings.

Playing against one of the best bowlers in the tournament, Sahil Parakh was ready to face some dangerous deliveries. However, the second ball of his innings was a deadly inswinging yorker on the middle which was unplayable. The left-handed batter had no answer as the ball ripped off the middle stump. He had to return to the pavilion without disturbing the scoreboard. 

It was indeed a dream start for RCB. However, the destruction that followed the wicket was unexpected. DC lost five back-to-back wickets within ten runs and ended up scoring the lowest total in the powerplay, which is 13. As we write, David Miller and Abhishek Porel are trying to construct a partnership from here on. They have overs in their hands but not the wickets.
