Heinrich Klaasen has become the new Orange Cap holder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 after scoring a wonderful 69-run knock against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Hyderabad. The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were asked to bat first by PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer. Just like every match, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma gave a good start in the power play.

But it was Klaasen who helped them put 235 runs on the board. He got the support of Nitish Reddy during the mid-innings. They formed a partnership of 63 off 32 balls and put up a mammoth total on the board. The winner of the match will become the table toppers. As we write, PBKS have lost four wickets, including skipper, Priyansh Arya, and Prabhsimran Singh.

Vijaykumar Vyshak dismisses Heinrich Klaasen in last over 

Heinrich Klaasen played an incredible knock today in the match against PBKS. He smashed three boundaries and four sixes before getting dismissed against Vijaykumar Vyshak in the IPL 2026. The bowler delivered a full and outside off, in the slot delivery to which Klaasen got forward to loft the ball. However, it went straight up and was a simple catch to long-off.

Marco Jansen took the catch comfortably to dismiss the batter. By then, SRH had scored 235 runs in the first innings. This will be an intriguing game of cricket since the players have performed well and the PBKS team will be hoping to chase down the target like they have done throughout the season.
