Watch: Jaw-dropping rebound catch breaks internet from BAN vs ZIM U19 World Cup 2026
A jaw-dropping video has gone viral around the social media platforms where a Zimbabwe pacer was hit by the shot on his followthrough before another fielder grabs the catch against Bangladesh during the U19 World Cup 2026.

Fielding standards have been set at the highest level during the ongoing 2026 edition of the U-19 World Cup in Zimbabwe and Namibia. During the Super Six encounter of the event between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh at the Harare Sports Club, the same picture took place when a rebound catch dropped the jaw of the spectators, which later proved vital.
The left-arm Zimbabwepacer, Tatenda Chimugoro, bowled a juicy half-volley to Md Abudllah, who was on 12 runs in nine balls at that point in time. The southpaw used his feet and nailed the pacer straight back down the ground, where the bowler tried to grab the catch. But the speed of the ball was such that it hit the bowler and popped up high in the air.

Behind the bowling crease, the fielder, Shelton Mazvitorera, was standing at the mid-on region, who rushed to the straight line and grabbed a fine air-borne catch to send the batter back into the pavilion. It was a great take from the fielder, who was well aware of the entire situation.
