Watch: Marcus Stoinis hits flat six off Mohammed Shami in PBKS vs LSG clash in IPL 2026

The Punjab Kings (PBKS) batters wreaked havoc on the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) bowlers in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. They scored 254 runs in the first innings, thanks to Priyansh Arya's 93 and Cooper Connolly's 87 runs. They made an 182-run partnership, helping the team post the season's highest total. They surpassed RCB, who had scored 250 runs against CSK. 

Towards the end of PBKS' innings, Marcus Stoinis played a short cameo, scoring 29 off 16 balls, including two boundaries and sixes. He played a wonderful knock, but the second six that he hit stole the show. Stoinis is a talented batter, and he has proved his worth time and again. Even in today's game, he kept the scoreboard going, which helped PBKS put up a mammoth total on the board.

PBKS' Marcus Stoinis is one of the most dangerous batters in the tournament and has played stunning cricket in the past as well. In today's game, he slammed a flat six off Mohammed Shami and turned the limelight towards himself. He couldn't stay for long, but he definitely made his presence worth remembering. 

In the third ball of the 19th over, Mohammed Shami tried to surprise with a short ball outside off, but Marcus Stoinis was quick to adjust. He moved into position early, trusted his strength, and hammered the delivery over long-on. The shot stayed low and fast, racing into the stands, showing his control and clean striking.
