IPL 2026, Match 29 - PBKS vs LSG: Toss Update and Playing XI

The 29th match of the IPL 2026 has been scheduled between Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants (PBKS vs LSG). Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium (New Chandigarh) is hosting this crucial fixture on Sunday night (April 19). While it is the third game at this venue in the ongoing IPL 2026, both teams are playing their sixth match of the season.

Punjab Kings are playing their sixth game of the season, as the IPL 2014 and 2025 runners-up are the only side to maintain an unbeaten record this season. While PBKS won four games, they had one no result against the hosts Kolkata Knight Riders. Punjab beat Gujarat Titans, Chennai Super Kings, SunRisers Hyderabad, and Mumbai Indians.

On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants have won two matches and lost three games, as they have four points after five matches and are standing in eighth position. After losing against Delhi Capitals, LSG closely beat SunRisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders, before losing against Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
