[WATCH] MS Dhoni and Ruturaj Gaikwad involved in a fun game as cricket legend launches padel brand in Chennai

Former Indian T20 World Cup and ODI World Cup-winning captain, MS Dhoni, just launched his new padel brand centre, ‘7Padel,’ in Chennai. On the launch night, "7Padel India" released a video on their official social media accounts, where the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) leaders MS Dhoni and Ruturaj Gaikwad were involved in a fun game.

In the video, CSK leaders Ruturaj Gaikwad and MS Dhoni, and the Indian musician Anirudh Ravichander, were involved in a fun game to launch MS Dhoni's new padel brand '7Padel.'

What is MS Dhoni's '7Padel"

'7Padel' in Chennai is located close to Alphabet School in MGR Salai in Palavakkam on East Coast Road. This centre is 20,000 square foot large, which is a big addition to the city. It has three padel courts, one pickleball court, and one swimming pool, along with the presence of a gym, recovery room, cafe, and sauna. This centre is open to everyone, like athletes, amateurs, families, etc.

While Ruturaj Gaikwad is the present official captain of the CSK, MS Dhoni returned to the leadership role in the middle of the IPL 2025 after Gaikwad was ruled out of the tournament due to an injury. Chennai is a very close city to Dhoni, who has served for the IPL franchise CSK since the inaugural season (excluding 2016 and 2017 when CSK were suspended). 

Talking about why he chose the city to launch his first padel centre, Dhoni said, “Chennai has always been special to me. The city has given me so much on and off the field, and it feels only right to launch my first padel centre here. Padel is exciting and addictive, but more importantly, it’s inclusive. I want 7Padel to be a place where athletes, families, and fitness lovers all find their space."
