The lanky right-arm pacer of the Karnataka side, Prasidh Krishna, has celebrated his five-wicket haul during the final of the Ranji Trophy 2025/26 against Jammu and Kashmir at the Hubli Cricket Ground.

During the final of the Ranji Trophy for the 2025/26season at the KSCA Hubli Cricket Ground, the eyes were on the international pacer, Prasidh Krishna from Karnataka, when they were up against Jammu and Kashmir in the competition. The lanky pacer was needed to carry the bowling of the side after they decided to bowl first on a surface that turned out to be flat for the batters.
Prasidh Krishna drew the first blood with the wicket of Qamran Iqbal, who was dismissed for six runs. He was beaten numerous times by the pacers and got out by a back-of-a-length delivery outside the off stump, to which he decided to go with hard hands and ended up getting the outside edge into the hands of the slip fielder, KL Rahul.
Prasidh also picked up the second wicket of Yawer Hassan, for 88 runs, as the pacer used the length ball outside the off stump to which the batter was only half-forward and looked to defend before the ball found the outside edge and was carried low to the slip region.
