He picked Virat Kohli as his favorite batsman, Jasprit Bumrah as his favorite bowler, and Hardik Pandya as his favorite all-rounder. Rashid has good fond memories of playing against his idols. Moreover, Rashid is also known to have good relations with them, both on the field as well as off the field.

Rashid's preferences speak volumes about the legacy of these players. Virat's supremacy with the bat, Bumrah's killer instinct with the ball, and Hardik's all-round firepower make for an ideal trio. Rashid played his last IPL game of the season against MI in Ahmedabad, where he contributed 2 (3) with the bat and earned decent figures of 1-21 in his allotted overs. GT went on to roll over MI with ease by a margin of eight wickets.

While his participation is highly anticipated in GT's do-or-die Eliminator clash against MI, the focus now turns to his three idols. Kohli will be seen in action tonight in the Qualifier 1 match against PBKS in Mullanpur, while Bumrah and Pandya brace themselves for the Eliminator class against Rashid's GT.
