The SRMB TMT, a renowned steel manufacturing firm, has introduced a new advertisement featuring the two former World Cup-winning captains, Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni. A video has gone viral where both of them were seen flying kites on the roof of the house. It has been an intense battle in the kite fight between the two cricketers.

There was a part of the video where one of the people reckoned the stability of MS Dhoni holding the kite, to which the 2011 World Cup-winning captain expressed, “Irrespective of the game, the holding should be really strong.” This advertisement underscores the company’s focus on strength, durability, and trust.

This advertisement tracks the journey of such players and equates their achievements to TMT’s strong steel products. It asserts that just as one needs strong steel to construct buildings. In cricket, one needs strong leadership and resolve. Rohit was recently part of the three-match ODI series at home against South Africa, which they won by a 2-1 margin.

Rohit was in fabulous touch during the three-match ODI series against Australia down under when he smashed a fine half-century during the second game at the Adelaide Oval and bettered it with an unbeaten 121-run knock at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). In Ranchi and Visakhapatnam, the right-handed batter celebrated two fifties against South Africa.

In 2024, he slammed 161 runs in 11 innings at a strike rate of 220.54 with the unbeaten score of 37 runs.

Rohit will be back for the three-match home series against the Blackcaps, which begins on January 11. He is also expected to be back for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2025/26 for Mumbai in the knock-out stage of the competition.
