Poor ODI series against New Zealand

Rohit has been in decent form in ODIs in recent times, but he struggled in the series against New Zealand. The opener failed to make a big impact and could not convert his starts. He scored 26 runs in the first match, followed by 24 in the second game. In the final ODI, he was dismissed for 11.

Overall, Rohit finished the series with 61 runs from three matches at an average of 20.33 and a strike rate of 81.08. India will next play an ODI series in July against England. It will be an important tour for Rohit, as he will be under pressure to perform after a poor home series. The veteran batter has played 282 ODIs, scoring 11,577 runs at an average of 48.84 and a strike rate of 92.74, with 33 centuries and 61 half-centuries.
