According to reports, the management has booked tickets to the Maldives for their members to utilize the break. Fans are hoping for a rejuvenated Red and Black troop from the next fixtures, which is on May 7, against the Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Stadium.

As of now, RCB is on the verge of making their way into the play-offs as they have claimed 12 points from 6 wins in 9 games. However, in their last five games, they got defeated twice, which might have made their fans a little bit disappointed.

In most of the IPL 2026 matches so far, the defending champions played with confidence. Apart from a few disappointing encounters, they have made significant impacts on both bat and ball. Among the batters of the team, Virat Kohli, captain Rajat Patidar, Devdutt Padikkal, and Tim David played their parts well. Timing raises questions as IPL 2026 enters a crucial phase of the tournament.

The Video shared on ‘X’ on May 2 has raised doubts over the timing of the vacation, as they will have to return to India soon to prepare for their next match against the Lucknow Super Giants in Lucknow. The LSG vs RCB match is scheduled for May 7, which means RCB players will have to pack their bags within 5 days. After taking the return flight to India from the Maldives, the players of the team will need some time to overcome the jet lag. 

A few fans have already raised their concerns over the RCB management’s plan to send their players overseas for such a short period of time. A short vacation can work in both ways for the team. It can boost the team; on the other hand, the tight schedule can prove hectic for the cricketers as well.
