The Indian Cricket Team have taken a step closer to the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 after their impressive victory over Zimbabwe at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. This win has made their path to the semi-finals easier.

What are the rules regarding no-balls?
According to the International Cricket Council (ICC) rules, a no-ball is given in certain situations. A no-ball is declared if the ball bounces more than once before reaching the popping crease at the striker’s end. A no-ball is also given if the ball lands fully or partly outside the pitch.
However, a no-ball is not given if the ball lands behind the 22-yard line. When a no-ball is called, the batting team gets one extra run, and the next ball becomes a free hit in limited-overs cricket.
