The Multan Sultan's star overseas batter, Steven Smith, slammed a terrific century in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 against the Hyderabad Kingsmen in Karachi. After winning the toss, the Kingsmen decided to field first, but their decision turned into a nightmare as Sultan's openers, Smith and Sahibzada Farhan, put up an opening stand of 133 runs in 75 balls.

Farhan slammed 66 off 43 balls, including four boundaries and five sixes, while Smith scored 106 off 50 deliveries, hitting 12 boundaries and six sixes. The fans would have definitely enjoyed the knock since it helped the Sultans put up 213 runs on the board. The rest of the batting line-up failed to score runs, and that's why the total wasn't huge. Meanwhile, Smith also hit 28 runs in an over against Hunain Shah, making the game even more interesting.

Steve Smith hits 28 runs in one over against Hunain Shah

In the PSL 2026 match, Steve Smith hit 28 runs in an over and shocked the Hyderabad players. He played all kinds of shots, hitting four boundaries and two sixes. In the 16th over, he hit Hunain Shah and also reached his century with a six. He started by hitting a boundary, followed by another. Then he bashed a six flat over deep mid-wicket, and the shot didn't have air time.

Smith is one of the best batters with tons of experience in the T20 format. He has played for multiple teams across leagues, and that confidence was evident in the way he batted today. Later, he was dismissed in the fourth ball of the 17th over by Hassan Khan.
