Team Indian cricketers Arshdeep Singh and Jitesh Sharma recently met famous Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh in Melbourne. The diva is in Australia for his AURA World Tour and will be performing at AAMI Park Stadium on Saturday, November 1. Jitesh shared an amusing Instagram post before the show of him, Arshdeep, and Diljit singing along to Diljit's song "God Bless."
The video went viral on social media and showed the fun side of the cricketers and their love for Desi music. Both Arshdeep and Jitesh looked happy as they joined Diljit in the light-hearted moment ahead of his big concert. It was a cheerful break for the players after a tough game against Australia.
On Friday, October 31, India had a disappointing outing at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The team was bowled out for just 125 runs in 18.4 overs after being put in to bat. Abhishek Sharma was the only major contributor, scoring 68 off 37 balls, while Josh Hazlewood took three wickets for Australia. In reply, Mitchell Marsh led the hosts to victory with a quick 46 off 26 balls as they chased the target in only 13.2 overs.
BCCI Provides Major Update on Shreyas Iyer’s Injury
In the same press release, the BCCI issued an update on Shreyas Iyer’s health, confirming that he would remain in Sydney for a few more days for medical consultation. The board expressed gratitude to the medical teams assisting him during his recovery. “The BCCI extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr Kouroush Haghigi and his team in Sydney, along with Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala in India, for ensuring Shreyas received the best treatment for his injury. Shreyas will continue to stay in Sydney for follow-up consultations and will return to India once he is deemed fit to fly,” the statement read.

As per reports, despite steady progress, Iyer is likely to be sidelined for the next two months. He is expected to miss the upcoming home ODI series against South Africa but could make his return for the 50-over series against New Zealand, scheduled to begin in the second week of January.
