The former World Cup-winning spin all-rounder of the Indian side, Yuvraj Singh, was present at the Maharaj Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur, in New Chandigarh. He met the players of the current Blue Brigade, including head coach Gautam Gambhir, along with the two openers, Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill.

Yuvraj recalled the spark they used to have in the huddle and pre-match conversations. He reckoned that, having seen the Indian players and their progress in the last couple of years, he had full confidence in them earning success in the shortest format.

I have been watching these guys and watching their progress in the last couple of years.” Yuvraj Singh expressed in a video posted by the BCCI.

I do not doubt that my Indian team is going to the last four or last two. But for me, they win or lose, I am always proud of them. I have been part of the team that lost many battles but won some big battles.” Singh addressed.

“And I really feel that if they stick together as a team, the results will show up in the park.” The former all-rounder concluded. Having already lost the second game by 51 runs and the series getting squared off at 1-1, India will aim to come back strong in the third game at Dharamshala.
