Vaibhav Suryavanshi was the biggest contributor for India in their opening clash of the Men’s U-19 Asia Cup 2025 against the United Arab Emirates at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai. But after a failure with the bat in the second clash against the arch-rivals, Pakistan, he had a role reversal with the ball where he picked up a vital wicket in his only over of the game.

Ayush Mhatre, the opening batter of the Under-19 side, smashed 38 runs in 25 balls at a strike rate of 152 with the help of four boundaries and three sixes, while their number three batter, Aaron George, nailed a fine knock of 85 runs in 88 balls, shouldering on 12 boundaries and one six at a strike rate of a touch under 100.
