Shiv Sena head reacts to Bangladesh's boycott of T20 World Cup 2026

On January 22, the Shiv Sena UBT leader, Aditya Thackeray, revealed that the decision should have come quite earlier, and the ICC should have taken some action at an early stage of the incident. In case of the boycott, Scotland will replace them in the event.

Watch the video here:

“This should have happened much earlier because Bangladesh and Pakistan spread terror in our country. Even if we wanted to play with them, it would still be wrong. Our jawans are attacked, our country is attacked, Hindus are being oppressed in Bangladesh, yet here ICC and BCCI want to play cricket with them. Why didn't ICC take action on this much earlier?Aditya informed.

Everything started when the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) instructed the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to release the Bangladesh left-arm pacer, Mustafizur Rahman, from the team without giving any proper reason ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.
