Watch the video where the former captain of the Indian cricket team in the ODIs, Rohit Sharma, has smashed a huge six to hit his own Lamborghini car outside the ground while going through his training in Mumbai.
The former ODI captain of the Indian side, Rohit Sharma, who was removed from the leadership responsibilities ahead of the three-match series against Australia down under, spent nearly two hours at training at Shivaji Park along with his former Mumbai team-mate, Abhishek Nayar, preparing for the tour as he aims for his return to competitive cricket after seven months.
Several fans gathered at the ground to enjoy the batting of the Nagpur-born as the Indian batter displayed his characteristic pull and cut shots with sweet timing against the pacers and spinners. He showed intent from the first ball, something which he has been known for in the 50-over format recently.
A video claimed that Rohit accidentally hit his own Lamborghini during the practice. He went down on his knee and swept the ball in the air as it seemed to hit something outside the ground. He walked to the other end to inquire for a moment as the hilarious video went viral on social media platforms.

The practice was held at the All Heart Cricket Academy, which included Mumbai cricketer Angkrish Raghuvanshi and several other local players who participated in the net session. The 38-year-old Rohit represented India during the final of the Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in New Zealand, which they went on to win comfortably.
It was his second consecutive ICC title as they won the T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the United States of America. After being replaced as the ODI captain by Shubman Gill, Rohit’s main mantra is to score quickfire runs around the park and provide them with rapid starts with the bat.
There are reports that the BCCI has asked the Mumbai Cricket Association to be ready for the return of the veteran for a few games in the Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) 2025-26 before leading into the home ODI season against South Africa and New Zealand. Rohit’s target is to feature in the ODI World Cup 2027 in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
