South Africa Champions registered their third consecutive win of the 2025 World Champions League (WCL) with a commanding 10-wicket victory over England Champions in Match 8 at Grace Road, Leicester. Having decided to bowl first, South Africa held England to 152/6 in 20 overs through Imran Tahir (2/17), Wayne Parnell (2/36), and Chris Morris (1/32) while keeping the England batters under check despite a 39-run contribution from Phil Mustard.

In reply, the pursuit was a one-sided spectacle with AB de Villiers displaying a batting masterclass to hammer 116* off a mere 51 balls. Aided by Hashim Amla's unblemished 29 off 25, the Proteas scored 153/0 in just 12.2 overs. England bowlers had no solution to AB's rampage, giving boundaries freely as the match concluded with 46 balls still remaining.

The South Africa Champions, with this win, continued their unbeaten streak as well as their spot at the top of the league table on 6 points with an NRR of +4.304. Meanwhile, the England Champions remained winless after four games, with 1 point and an NRR of -1.431.
