The left-arm pacer of the Indian cricket team, Arshdeep Singh, has displayed his skills with the new ball inside the powerplay and even in the death overs, especially in the shortest format of the game. He is currently the leading wicket-taker of the Blue Brigade in T20Is with 107 wickets in 68 innings at an average of just over 18 and a strike rate of 13.19 with the economy rate of just over eight.

Along with his heroics with the ball in the air, Arshdeep Singh has been a famous person on YouTube. He has revealed the surprising moment that pushed him into creating a challenge. Speaking to the JioHotstar, the Punjab-born shed light that the idea came to him when he was out of the playing eleven during the Champions Trophy 2025.

“When I got to know that I wouldn't be playing in the first game of the Champions Trophy, I was very bored in my room — and that's when I started my YouTube channel. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise.Arshdeep expressed in a conversation.

Arshdeep reveals reason of becoming YouTuber 

Arshdeep overall collected 236 wickets in 177 innings at an average of around 22, a strike rate of 15.8, and an economy rate of 8.51. In the opening T20I of the ongoing five-match series against South Africa at the Barabati Cricket Stadium in Cuttack, he ended with fine figures of 2/14 for their massive 100+ run victory to go 1-0 up in the series.

Arshdeep explained that he tries to find positivity even when things don’t go as planned.Sometimes you just have to be grateful that you are playing at this level. You also have to wait for your chances, and when you get an opportunity, make sure you make the most of it.He shed light in the same discussion.

The left-arm pacer’s recent reel with Virat Kohli post their nine-wicket win in the third ODI against the Proteas went viral. He hilariously told Kohli that the latter missed the chance of his century due to the low target. The Delhi-born replied that Arshdeep should have been happy that they fortunately won the toss, otherwise the bowler might have crossed the 100-run mark.
