WPL 2026: Points Table

The Delhi Capitals Women won by seven wickets in Match 7 of the WPL 2026 on January 14 in Navi Mumbai. After batting first, The UP Warriorz Women managed 154/8 in their 20 overs. Skipper Meg Lanning was the main contributor for them, with 54 from 38 deliveries. Delhi bowlers kept things tight, with Marizanne Kapp and Shafali Verma picking up two wickets each to control the innings.

Chasing 155, Delhi Capitals Women remained calm to get to the target on the last ball, finishing at 158/3. Lizelle Lee played an important role, smashing 67 off just 44 balls, setting the tone right at the top. Besides, Shafali Verma also contributed with the bat, scoring 36 off 32 balls. Deepti Sharma was the best bowler for UP Warriorz, as she took 2 wickets for 26 runs, but it was not enough to stop Delhi.

Shafali Verma made a strong impact with both bat and ball and was named Player of the Match. She bowled an excellent spell of 2/16 in four overs, and with the bat, she added 36 runs. Her all-round brilliance helped the Delhi Capitals Women register their season's maiden win in WPL 2026.
